Jefferson University Hospitals

Jefferson's Neuromuscular Electrodiagnostic Laboratory (EMG Lab) is dedicated to performing nerve condition studies, such as electromyography (EMG) and single-fiber EMG, to aid your neurologist and physician in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular diseases. An abnormal EMG result may be a sign of peripheral neuropathy, polymyositis, muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis or other neuromuscular disease.
