Jefferson University Hospitals

Jefferson physicians use a variety of procedures to determine hematuria (blood in the urine), recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs) or to assess the urinary system when there has been trauma to the bladder.

What Does Cystography Involve?

Cystography, an invasive procedure performed with an endoscope, allows physicians to assess problems with bladder emptying and urinary incontinence.

Cystography is performed by experienced radiologists at Jefferson who work in conjunction with our urologists to ensure you are accurately diagnosed and an appropriate treatment plan is established.
