Cerebral Arteriogram

A cerebral arteriogram, also called an angiogram, is a diagnostic study that uses X-ray and dye to visualize the blood vessels in the neck and brain. It is particularly useful for visualizing abnormalities such as narrowed blood vessels, cerebral aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation (AVM). A neurosurgeon specially trained in interventional radiology will perform your cerebral arteriogram.

The interventional radiologists at Jefferson were the first in the country to use vascular stents clinically and have extensive experience in endovascular procedures for treatment of all types of vascular disease.
