Urgent Care Center in Washington Square
Jefferson Urgent Care Expands with Addition of Second Location in Washington Square, Center City Philadelphia
Jefferson expanded its urgent care footprint by opening a second location in Washington Square, Philadelphia on May 26. The first location, in Northeast Philadelphia, opened in March. Board-certified emergency medicine physicians are available in both locations to care for patients with acute, non-life threatening illnesses and injuries.
“Our patients are thrilled with the service and expertise offered at Jefferson Urgent Care in Northeast Philadelphia. Now, Center City residents have access to that same quality and convenience,” said Judd Hollander, M.D., Associate Dean for Strategic Health Initiatives, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. “Our emergency medicine physicians are available seven days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., for when patients can’t wait for an appointment and want to be seen right away.”
Patients who live or work in Center City will be right around the corner from the same high-quality Jefferson care they know and trust, with no appointment necessary. Emergency Medicine physicians will follow-up with patients’ primary care providers to ensure continuity of care after the urgent care visit.
Additional services include x-ray, influenza vaccines, laboratory testing, sutures, splinting and sports and employment physicals.
