Jefferson Names Andrew L. Miller, MD, MPH, SFHM, Associate Chief Medical Officer
Andrew L. Miller, M.D., M.P.H., S.F.H.M. was promoted to Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Methodist Hospital Division (MHD).
Prior to his promotion, Dr. Miller was interim ACMO for one year and was the Director of Associates in Hospital Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Methodist Hospital Division. In that position, he managed a group of 15 physicians and worked clinically as a full time hospitalist. He will remain Executive Director of that group.
Dr. Miller received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, his Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a Master's in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Miller completed his Internal Medicine Residency at University of California, Los Angeles. He is currently the Co-president of the Philadelphia/Tri-State Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine and was recently awarded the designation of Senior Fellow in the Society of Hospital Medicine.
