Patient Financial Advocacy

We help to identify relevant assistance programs and coordinate all benefits investigation and financial assistance. We act as a liaison between your insurance and your provider by obtaining any prior authorizations that are required by your insurance. 

Comprehensive Clinical Support

Patient Education

Our pharmacists educate patients on the essential aspects of their specialty pharmacy therapy. They review the therapy, potential side effects and side effect management tools. The pharmacist encourages the patient to contact us with any issues with their therapy on a 24 hour-a-day basis.

Drug Therapy Assessment

Our pharmacists perform full medication reviews for each new prescription, screening for potential interactions, duplicate therapies, or allergies. If any concerns are identified, the pharmacist will discuss options with the physician and patient.

Adherence & Refills

Our representatives proactively call patients to ensure timely prescription refills and to identify issues which might impact their therapy. Pharmacists are available to address any questions or issues and to encourage continued adherence. Any concerns will be discussed with the physician’s team.

Side Effect Management

Our clinical team identifies potential side effects of therapy and advises the patient on ways to prevent issues. If a side effect does occur, a pharmacist will advise the physician and discuss potential options.

Patient Safety

Access to Medications

When medications are not available at our pharmacy or your insurance has changed, or our pharmacy is no longer in your prescription coverage network, our team will discuss options with you. Generally, this will involve transferring your prescription to a pharmacy within your prescription coverage network that is able to dispense the medication. You will be notified by a pharmacy team member of the transfer and will be provided with the name and phone number of the pharmacy.

Medication Access During Emergencies

In the event of a disaster, we have an emergency preparedness plan in place to continue servicing you. Please contact us regarding any medications you may require when there is a threat of disaster or inclement weather. In the event of a disaster at our location, you will be contacted, and services will be provided through another pharmacy to ensure access to your medication.

If there is a disaster in your area, and you are forced to temporarily relocate, please contact us to instruct us where to deliver your medication. This will ensure that your therapy is not interrupted. Be sure to let us know when you have returned to your residence.

Drug Substitution Protocols

Occasionally, a generic drug needs to be substituted for a brand name drug. This occurs when your insurance company prefers the generic be dispensed or to reduce your copay. A member of our team will contact you if this situation occurs.

Drug Recalls

If a drug recall affects medications you are receiving from our pharmacy, we will notify you and provide instructions on how to proceed.

Convenient Delivery & Accessibility

Personalized Delivery

Our staff provides free delivery to accommodate each patient’s preference. Delivery can be made to the physician’s office or to the patient’s home or workplace, as requested.

Accessibility

  • Our regular hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • A pharmacist is available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week to discuss any patient or physician questions or concerns.
