Jefferson’s Rapid Anemia Evaluation and Treatment Program provides safe, efficient and effective care for patients with symptomatic anemia at our state-of-the-art facility in South Philadelphia.

Our program helps primary care physicians better manage a patient’s care by providing easy access to treatment. Patients who require blood transfusion will avoid lengthy wait times in the Emergency Department by visiting our offices in Methodist Hospital.

Convenience & Accessibility

  • Patients are evaluated by a board-certified hematologist-oncologist within one business day of a physician's call.
  • Patient treatment and follow-up plans are provided within one day of the patient's visit.
  • We will arrange for transfusions in our outpatient infusion center, if necessary.
  • Free parking is available.
