Jefferson’s first priority is your health and safety. At this time, all routine gynecologic appointments will be rescheduled for a later date. 

If you need a refill of birth control, please send us a message through MyJeffersonHealth and we will be happy to extend your prescription. 

If you have an urgent need to be seen, please contact the office and we will schedule a telehealth visit or an in-person visit, depending on the concern. 

Non-urgent surgeries will be postponed. Your surgeon will reach out to you regarding rescheduling.

Jefferson’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is home to the OB-GYN Associates Reproductive Health Clinic, which provides the highest quality of reproductive care to women who can become pregnant, regardless of the ability to pay for services. The clinic accepts major insurance plans and offers a sliding scale payment system based on patient income.

The OB-GYN Associates Reproductive Health Clinic provides individuals and couples access to compassionate care for planning and spacing births, ultimately contributing to positive birth outcomes and improved health care for women and infants. Clinical care is given to all individuals older than 12 years who can become pregnant.

The clinic utilizes Jefferson’s multidisciplinary teaching facility, offering a wide-range of health care providers including physicians, residents and nurse practitioners.  Individuals and partners can also receive rapid results and treatments for STD tests. Women who qualify for care are also able to secure same-day appointments with a provider for contraceptive or implant placement. Here is a full list of the services offered for both walk-in patients and women who make appointments:


  • Pregnancy testing
  • HIV and STD testing for patients and their partners
  • Emergency contraception
  • Contraception counseling and provision

By appointment:

  • Annual gynecology exam
  • Contraception services including:
    • IUDs (Liletta and Paragard)
    • Implants
    • Birth control pills
    • The contraceptive patch
    • The contraceptive ring
    • Male and female condoms
  • Cervical cancer screening
  • Breast cancer screening and referral for ultrasound/mammography
  • STD testing and treatment for patients and their partners

Walk-in hours are Monday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Wednesday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Appointment hours are available Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.
