Rheumatologists of Jefferson's Lupus Program offer comprehensive evaluation and treatment of lupus and other related autoimmune diseases. Our physicians employ the newest methods of diagnosis and treatment and are involved in national studies of experimental approaches to treating lupus.
If you are pregnant, we also have particular expertise in the management of lupus during pregnancy.
Treatments of lupus are tailored to your specific needs and may change during your lifetime. The goals of any treatment plan are to:
- Reduce inflammation
- Suppress your immune system
- Prevent flares
- Control symptoms such as joint pain and fatigue
