Why Choose Jefferson for Cystic Fibrosis Treatment?
Cysytic fibrosis patients know that being seen at a specialized care center is a must. With our cumulative decades of experience, we are able to assess each patients needs individually, and make sure everybody is getting the most out of their body and life. Cystic fibrosis is not just about the lungs, and a holistic approach must be taken. We work diligently to provide you with the exceptional care you expect from Jefferson Health.
As one of a select group of specialized centers in the country, we follow the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s direction that average outcomes are not what we are interested in. Our team makes every effort to stay current in this ever changing field, and we will ensure that you - as an individual - are our priority.
As demonstrated leaders in the field, we continually educate ourselves through research, clinical studies, the development of formal guidelines and policies, and addressing health disparities related to cystic fibrosis patients. In doing so, we align ourselves with leaders in the respiratory field. As part of our partnership with National Jewish Health in Denver, the #2 respiratory hospital in the nation as ranked by U.S. News & World Report, as well as the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
The diagnosis and treatment of cystic fibrosis requires multidisciplinary care. Following national and state guidelines regarding safety precautions, treatment and testing is important.
