Coronavirus (COVID-19) Program
The newly established Coronavirus (COVID-19) Program within the Jane and Leonard Korman Respiratory Institute – Jefferson Health and National Jewish Health offers the latest in diagnostic and treatment options for patients with COVID-19 related lung disease.
As we learn more about COVID-19, we understand this condition is not isolated to respiratory conditions alone. Our multidisciplinary approach combines the expertise needed from experts in infectious disease, radiology, rheumatology, primary care, and others throughout our organization. Together, this team engages in clinical studies testing new interventions for the treatment of severe COVID-19.
As one of the first of its kind in the Philadelphia region, this groundbreaking program studies, engages and treats COVID-19 in its entirety from diagnosis to post-care treatment. And, as leaders in the field, our specialists actively work to educate providers throughout the region to ensure all COVID-19 patients are receiving exceptional care with the latest resources available.
