Urogynecology & Pelvic Medicine

At Jefferson’s Comprehensive Urogynecology & Female Pelvic Medicine program, we specialize in treating common and sensitive conditions of the pelvic floor. Our goal is to ensure a return to better health, and more importantly, an improved quality of life.

Pelvic Floor Disorders (PFDs) may affect more than a third of all women in their lifetime. However, many are still reluctant to seek care for conditions like urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence and other forms of bladder and/or bowel control.

Many of these conditions are treatable and assistance is readily available at Jefferson Health.

Why Choose Jefferson?

This multidisciplinary program is designed to incorporate evidence-based, integrative medicine into our approach. This includes collaborations with urology, gynecology, physical therapy, rehabilitation medicine, integrative medicine, colorectal surgery and gastroenterology, psychology, pain management and the various sources of research available at Jefferson Health.

Comprehensive Urogynecology & Pelvic Medicine is led by the area's only board-certified urogynecologist who is also fellowship-trained in integrative medicine. Our staff includes both a nurse navigator as well as an advanced practice nurse, both in a position to coordinate care and advocate for our patients.

Our experts provide compassionate and quality care for a broad spectrum of conditions affecting the health and functionality of the pelvic floor and its organs.
