Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease: Diagnosis, Treatment and Ongoing Care
The very notion of dementia or Alzheimer's Disease can be a scary thing, particularly for those aged 60 and older. However, awareness and education can be key when it comes to management and overall care.
In this helpful and informative event, participants will learn about the importance of getting a diagnosis for dementia symptoms, as well as common Alzheimer's Disease treatments and ongoing care needs.
The hour-long course is hosted by the Alzheimer's Association and led by Jefferson Fellow in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Dr. Gillian Love. The event will not only enlighten, but encourage those participating to get the help they need for themselves and/or their loved ones.
