Health Ministry Forum: Racism, Trauma & Transformation (Part 2)

The latest in the Health Ministry Forum's series of virtual workshops that explores mental and emotional injuries caused by encounters with racial bias, ethnic discrimination, racism and hate crimes. 

This event will be hosted by psychologist and the author of The Trauma Zone: Trusting God for Emotional Healing, Dr. R. Dandridge Collins. Dr. Collins will be joined by co-hosts, family medicine physician Dr. Deborah Witt and Dr. Neva White, the Executive Director of the Frazier Family Coalition for Stroke Education and Prevention.

The panel will discuss these issues, as well as exam the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and how congregations can apply healing center care approaches to the population they serve.
