Integrative Medicine: What Is It and How Can It Benefit Patients with Cancer?

Integrative medicine aims to reduce the negative impact of cancer treatments by alleviating stress, tension, anxiety, pain, nausea and other side effects. At the same time, it may promote relaxation and improve mood and general wellbeing.

Our practitioners will facilitate a discussion about integrative therapy techniques that may benefit you as you undergo treatment for cancer, including a discussion of potential benefits and side effects.

Facilitated by: Dr. Ana Marie Lopez, Dr. Madeline Becker, and Lisa Capparella LCSW.
