The U.S. News & World Report released its 2021-22 annual Best Hospitals rankings and recognized Jefferson Health hospitals as among the best in the nation, with Magee Rehabilitation ranked 21st. Locally, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc., ranked 2nd in the Philadelphia metro area and 3rd in Pennsylvania. Abington Hospital ranked 7th in the Philadelphia region and 13th in Pennsylvania. Jefferson New Jersey and Jefferson Northeast tied for 12th in the Philadelphia metro area, while Jefferson New Jersey ranked 10th in New Jersey and Jefferson Northeast ranked 20st in Pennsylvania.
