No, you will not be exposed to radiation during your ultrasound or ultrasound-guided procedure.

Will I need to fast before arriving for my service?

No, fasting is not required.

Will I need to be sedated?

Sedation is not necessary for ultrasound or ultrasound-guided injections.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes, you will need prescriptions for both imaging and/or treatment. Please consult with your primary care physician before making an appointment.

Should someone accompany me to my visit?

You are welcome to have someone accompany you to your appointment, but you are not required to have anyone with you.

How long should I plan to be at my PRP appointment?

Expect to be in the ultrasound department for approximately 60 to 90 minutes.

Will my insurance cover this service?

It is recommended you contact your insurance carrier as some procedures are not covered.

Will I need my insurance card at the time of my visit?
