Thyroid Hormone Replacement Therapy

If the thyroid gland is not producing enough hormones for your body's needs or the thyroid gland is no longer functioning normally due to a thyroidectomy, your physician may recommend thyroid hormone replacement therapy.

What Does Thyroid Hormone Replacement Therapy Involve?

The goal of this type of therapy is to closely replicate normal thyroid functioning. Our physicians will carefully select the right dosage of thyroid hormone and monitor your thyroid function by checking TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) levels.

Our Program is the only one of its kind in the Philadelphia region, and our physicians offer a unique multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of thyroid disorders, including tumors.
