Kidney Dialysis

If you have been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), are recovering from a kidney transplant or experiencing liver failure, you will receive expert care from Jefferson's multidisciplinary team of nephrologists, nurses, dieticians and social workers.

Dialysis is provided in state-of-the-art facilities for both patients in the hospital and those that require dialysis on an outpatient basis.

Jefferson's Department of Nephrology also provides intermittent hemodialysis, CVVHD (continuous veno-veno hemofiltration dialysis) and MARS (molecular adsorbent recirculation system) for liver failure patients.
