Hyperthermia

For cancer patients, hyperthermia is a form of thermal therapy that utilizes moderate temperature elevation to enhance the effects of radiation and chemotherapy.

Numerous clinical trials have shown that a combination of hyperthermia with chemotherapy can improve cancer treatment outcomes. This includes treatment of superficial recurrent tumors such as:

  • Chest wall recurrence
  • Skin cancers
  • Recurrent head and neck cancer in lymph nodes
  • Cervical lymph nodes
