Preparing for Your Visit
Prior to Your Exam
- Please do not take blood thinning medication five days prior to your procedure. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, etc. Tylenol is the only over-the-counter medication you can take. If you take a prescribed blood thinning medication, please check with your doctor prior to stopping use; this includes aspirin.
- Drop off outside films at least five days prior to your scheduled procedure. (Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
- All female patients coming in for this exam should wear a tight bra.
