Jefferson Neurologist and Critical Care Specialist Appointed to Numerous Medical Societies
Fred Rincon, MD, MSc, FACP, FCCP, an assistant professor of Neurology and Neurological Surgery at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, and a neurointensivist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, was recently appointed to numerous medical societies. These appointments include:
- Elected by vote as member-at-large of the Neurosciences section of the Society for Critical Care Medicine.
- Named chair of Ethics section of Neurocritical Care Society.
- Named a Fellow of the American Heart Association.
Dr. Rincon has received multiple honors and research awards for his work in neurology and critical care medicine. He has written numerous journal articles and has presented his research around stroke and neurocritical care at international scientific meetings.
Dr. Rincon is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the Neurocritical Care Society, and the Society for Critical Care Medicine.
