If you have chronic headache pain, you may find relief at the Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia. The Center staff is recognized nationally and internationally as major leaders and innovators in the field of headache.
The Headache Center specializes in treating patients with all types of head pain, providing primary, secondary and tertiary care. We evaluate approximately 1,200 new patients from all over the U.S. and around the world, and perform approximately 11,000 follow-up office visits annually.
You will be evaluated by a comprehensive team of registered nurses, headache fellows, neurologists and psychologists or psychiatrists that determines a diagnosis and develops a treatment plan. Treatment modalities include acute and preventive medications, new and leading-edge treatments related to the Center's basic and clinical research programs and non-medicinal pain-relieving techniques, such as occipital nerve stimulation, PFO closure and biofeedback and relaxation therapies.
