Our cardiologists will provide individualized care to help you better manage your condition, reduce your stay in the hospital and enhance your overall quality of life. We offer a range of therapies to strengthen your failing heart and treat the underlying causes of heart failure. Your Jefferson physician will help you choose the best treatment plan, based on the progression of your heart failure and its causes.

Treatment options may include implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) and pacers, biventricular pacing (also known as cardiac resynchronization therapy), coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve repair and replacement, mechanical circulatory support (VADs) and heart transplant.

At Jefferson, we understand that making those changes can be difficult and frustrating. We're here to help.

Whether you need to quit smoking, change how you eat, get more exercise or remember to keep taking your medications, your Jefferson team is here for support and guidance.

But please, ask questions and ask for help if you need it. We are in this together.
