Colorectal Surgery

The surgeons and staff of Jefferson's Division of Colorectal Surgery treat patients with a number of disorders including colon and rectal cancer, polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis and fecal incontinence.

While these conditions may be difficult to discuss, early diagnosis offers the best chance for a full recovery. Our physicians and surgeons in this Division have completed training in general surgery as well as advanced training in the treatment of colorectal disease.

A Multidisciplinary Approach to Treating Colorectal Disorders

For decades we have used a highly refined treatment selection process and a multidisciplinary approach using state-of-the-art procedures in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal disorders. We continue to focus on utilizing minimally invasive procedures, which result in decreased bleeding and quicker recovery times.

Maintaining Jefferson's core belief in offering world-class care and treatment, our colorectal surgeons collaborate with other specialists to provide coordinated diagnosis and treatment plans.
