Jefferson Health and JeffConnect is proud to host the SEARCH 2017 Fall Symposium, connecting health researchers, academicians, and visionaries to join in discussions of telehealth research, education and innovations.

Over this one and one-half day session, SEARCH2017 Fall Symposium seeks to both share findings and foster research partnerships among researchers and organizations.

SEARCH2017 Fall Symposium will build upon the newly-formed Society for Education and the Advancement of Research in Connected Health (SEARCH) which held its inaugural meeting this past April in Leesburg, Virginia.

The conference will begin the morning of October 5, 2017 and will end the afternoon of October 6, 2017.

Proposed topics include:

  • Evidence-based research which proves the benefits of connected health systems
  • Creation of quality initiatives and telehealth measures
  • Defining telehealth training programs and education 

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts are being solicited for panel presentations and posters. Submissions are due no later than midnight on August 1, 2017. To submit an abstract, please fill out this form and send it to JeffConnect@jefferson.edu.

Call for Didactics

There are two didactic formats for this symposium: short lecture (15 minutes, maximum 2 speakers), or panel discussion or long lecture (40 minutes). Didactic proposals should fall into one of the following categories: Research, Policy, Education, Administration, or State of the Art. Submissions are due no later than midnight on August 1, 2017. To submit an abstract, please fill out this form and send to JeffConnect@jefferson.edu.
